A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $           or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2024-2025 for the establishment of      additional permanent full-time equivalent (     FTE) mental health practitioner positions within the counseling and student development center of the University of Hawaii at Manoa's division of student success.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on June 30, 3000.

Description:

Appropriates funds to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to establish additional permanent mental health practitioner positions within the Division of Student Success' Counseling and Student Development Center.  Effective 6/30/3000.  (HD2)
