RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Prohibits UH from prohibiting a person from certain employment at UH solely because that person is a candidate for, or person elected to, a non-statewide public office. (HB1556 HD1)

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Appropriates moneys for the University of Hawaii to hire psychologists and case managers to provide student mental health services. (HB1703 HD2)

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Requires funds appropriated to the University of Hawaii for a specific purpose to be expended for that specific purpose. Requires a report that explains to the Legislature any nonconformity with the previous requirement. Requires unexpended funds to be returned to the general fund. (HB1800 HD1)

RELATING TO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. Clarifies that under the Hawaii Post-Secondary Education Authorization Program, when an institution ceases to operate, the student transcripts will be kept permanently in a form prescribed by the director and other records requested and obtained by DCCA may be disposed of at the director's discretion. RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Appropriates general funds for 4.0 FTE positions for the UH Pamantasan Council to promote access and diversity, including for programs and policies related to Philippine courses and Filipino students. (HB2224 HD1)

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII. Requires UH to train employees and students on sexual harassment policies, appoint a campus advocate at each campus for students to discuss incidents of sexual harassment, report sexual assault cases to the police, and conduct a campus climate survey. Prohibits romantic relationships between, among others, a UH student and a UH faculty member. (HB2772 HD1)
