RELATING TO ELECTRICITY.

Establishes criteria for the Public Utility Commission's methodology in determining the rate that a public utility should pay a producer for nonfossil fuel-generated electricity that the producer supplies to the public utility.  (HB2566 HD2)

RELATING TO ENERGY.

Requires the PUC to establish performance incentive mechanisms that directly tie electric utility revenues to the utility's achievement on performance metrics.  Allows PUC to delay implementation until no later than January 1, 2020.  (HB2649 HD2)

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION.

Requires at least one of the three members of the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to be a resident of a county other than the City and County of Honolulu and receive per diem compensation.  Allows commissioners to participate in PUC public hearings via teleconference and videoconference.  (HB1851 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS.

Requires every laboratory director or health care provider, as defined, to provide the Director of Health with an electronic mail address for the purpose of enabling the Department of Health to provide public health information on communicable or dangerous diseases in the State.  Requires certain health care professional classes, as determined by the Director of Health, to attend an annual continuing education course developed by the Department of Health on health issues that are unique to the State.  (HB2233 HD2)

RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION TREATMENT PLANS.

Allows physicians to submit workers' compensation treatment plans to employers by certified mail or facsimile, or if applicable, secure web portal, or secure electronic mail.  Requires employers to accept electronically submitted treatment plans and provide an electronic receipt of the submission.  (HB2017 HD1)
