Updates fee provisions relating to financial institutions.

RELATING TO FORCE-PLACED INSURANCE.

Requires financial institutions and mortgage servicers to provide written notice to borrowers regarding the status of their insurance coverage; obtain force-placed insurance subject to certain conditions; and terminate and refund any moneys to the borrower upon receipt of the confirmation of a borrower's existing insurance coverage.

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM GOVERNING INSTRUMENTS.

Clarifies procedures to amend condominium association declarations and bylaws.

RELATING TO VETERINARY TECHNICIANS.

Establishes a framework for the regulation of veterinary technicians.

RELATING TO PARTITION OF HEIRS PROPERTY.

Adopts Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act.  Establishes procedures and remedies for use in actions for partition of real property involving heirs property (real property held in tenancy in common that meets certain requirements).  Effective 1/1/17.

Status

RELATING TO ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES.

Consolidates the Office of Information Management and Technology and the Information and Communication Services Division of the Department of Accounting and General Services, including all related information technology functions, in the Office of Enterprise Technology Services under the direction of the Chief Information Officer.  The amendments are intended to create greater efficiency in state government and clarify roles and responsibilities in new governance processes by consolidating the two programs that already fall under the oversight of the Chief Information Officer.

Status

RELATING TO NOISE.

Establishes enhanced penalties for multiple noise violations by a licensee in a county with a population of 500,000 or more during a single calendar year.
