Your Committee on Ocean, Marine Resources, & Hawaiian Affairs, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 119 entitled:

 

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION REQUESTING A STUDY OF LIMU AND REEF FISH DECLINE IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE EWA COAST OF OAHU,"

 

begs leave to report as follows:

 

The purpose of this measure is to request that the Department of Land and Natural Resources conduct a study of the causes of limu and reef fish decline between Puuloa and Barber's Point on the Ewa Coast of Oahu and make recommendations for actions to stop the decline.

 

Three individuals testified in support of this measure. The Department of Land and Natural Resources and two individuals commented on this measure.

 

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Ocean, Marine Resources, & Hawaiian Affairs that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 119 and recommends that it be referred to the Committee on Finance.
