RELATING TO TEACHERS. Authorizes under the teacher national board certification incentive program an additional per year bonus for teachers who maintain current national board certification and teach at a school in a focus, priority, or superintendent's zone. Deletes obsolete references. Effective July 1, 2030. (HB2597 HD2)

RELATING TO EDUCATION. Authorizes the State Public Charter School Commission to assess fees on non-state entities and individuals to help offset its operating costs. Makes various amendments to the charter school law for clarity and consistency. Effective July 1, 2030. (HB1745 HD2)

RELATING TO EDUCATION. Establishes a special fund for the development of charter school facilities. Establishes an income tax credit for taxpayers who make contributions to the development of charter school facilities. Appropriates funds for the Hawaii charter school facility development special fund. Effective July 1, 2014. (HB2576 HD1)

Allows administrative, support, and instructional employees in charter schools to fully participate in the State's systems for certain employee benefits and additional supports and incentives offered by the Department of Education.
