The purpose of this informational briefing is to inform the public and update the Committee on: (1) the status of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund spending plan for COVID-19 related issues; (2) the implementation of K-12 distance learning throughout the State (including learning outcomes from the first quarter of distance learning, distribution of electronic devices for distance learning, and addressing Internet connectivity issues); (3) the status of the Acellus Learning Accelerator Distance Learning Program; and (4) the status of distance learning and ESSER funding within the State’s public charter schools.
