RELATING TO RESIDENTIAL LEASEHOLDS.

Applies lease-to-fee conversion to residential lots located in a living park in a county with a population of 500,000 or more where the park consists of at least 4,000 acres; is located in the state conservation district; and is zoned for preservation. (Proposed SD1)

RELATING TO WORKFORCE HOUSING.

Requires priority be given to affordable, reserved, and workforce housing applicants who work within twenty-five miles of the housing sought.

RELATING TO RENTAL DISCRIMINATION.

Prohibits discrimination, including in advertisements for available rental units, based on receipt of income from a housing assistance program, or requirements related to participation in housing assistance programs, in rental transactions and requirements.

RELATING TO THE HOUSING LOAN AND MORTGAGE PROGRAM.

Increases the Hula Mae multifamily revenue bond authorization amount.

RELATING TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING.

Makes technical and housekeeping amendments to Act 150, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018.  Authorizes the expenditure of funds from the Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund for the acquisition of the ground lease on the Front Street Apartments property.
