RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION.

Establishes training options as part of vocational rehabilitation for injured employees when training for employment in another occupational field is required for the employee and as part of the employee's rehabilitation plan.  Provides that all professional and clerical employees of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Rehabilitation Unit are to be administered by the DLIR Director.  (HB2377 HD1)

RELATING TO CIVIL RIGHTS.

Prohibits a state agency or program or activity receiving state financial assistance from excluding from participation, denying benefits to, or discriminating against a qualified individual by reason of disability, sex, including gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation.  (HB1489 HD1)

RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE.

Requires the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to establish paid family leave for all workers by January 1, 2020.  Authorizes DLIR to adopt interim rules.  Establishes the Paid Family Leave Implementation Board to assist DLIR and report to the Legislature.  Requires the Legislative Reference Bureau to conduct a study, including an actuarial analysis, on aspects of implementing paid family leave.  Establishes a Paid Family Leave Special Fund.  Appropriates funds.  (HB2598 HD2)
