RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Allows the university laboratory school to conform its student enrollment profile to the standard prescribed by the University of Hawaii college of education in order to meet the University of Hawaii college of education's research requirements.

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO DUAL CREDIT PROGRAMS.

Renames the "running start program" as the "dual credit program".  Broadens participation to include ninth and tenth graders.  Replaces a standardized test with an assessment.  Repeals tuition and fees requirement.  Appropriates moneys to the DOE and the UH for positions.
