RELATING TO CIVIL AIR PATROL.

Appropriates funds for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 to support operational mission readiness activities of the Hawaii Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, including facilities maintenance and capital improvements not funded by the National Civil Air Patrol.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB1771 HD2)

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.

Establishes a Women's Veterans Coordinator position within the Office of Veterans' Services to assist women veterans who served on active duty for the full period they were activated and who were discharged with other than a dishonorable discharge.  Appropriation.  Effective July 1, 2014.  (HB2072 HD1)

RELATING TO VETERANS.

Requires the counties to obtain approval from the office of veterans' services prior to any action that may impact the State's obligation to establish and maintain veterans cemeteries.  Effective July 1, 2030.  (HB1564 HD1)

RELATING TO MEMORIALS.

Appropriates funds for the planning, design, and construction of a Hawaii Gulf War Memorial to be located at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe, on the island of Oahu, and replicas of the memorial to be located at state veterans' cemeteries statewide.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (HB2073 HD1)

RELATING TO FAMILY COURTS.

Prohibits courts from considering a person's federal veterans disability benefits in determining whether to award support and maintenance allowances or the amount of such allowance to the person's spouse or former spouse.  Effective July 1, 2014.  (HB525 HD1)

Appropriates funds to the Pacific international space center for exploration systems to support administrative and general tasks, strategic program initiatives, and the preliminary development of the Pacific international space center for exploration systems' research and development park.  Appropriation.  Effective January 20, 2050.  (HB2152 HD1)
