RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Specifies that a government agency does not assume ownership or jurisdiction over a disputed road solely through maintenance activities.  Authorizes State to quitclaim ownership of roads in favor of counties.  Effective July 1, 2050.  Repealed December 31, 2023.  (SB1357 HD1)

Status

RELATING TO INTAKE SERVICE CENTERS.

Requires intake service centers to provide pretrial bail reports to the courts on adult offenders that are consented to by the defendant or that are ordered by the court and amends the law to provide statutory authority to the courts to treat information contained in the pretrial bail reports as confidential.  Repeals the intake service centers' duty to provide pretrial assessments on adult offenders that are consented to by the defendant or ordered by the court and assist in the conduct of presentence assessments on adult offenders and the preparation of presentence reports when requested by the courts.  (SD2)

Status

RELATING TO FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH.

Amends the Penal Code to establish limits to the length of conditional release for certain charges, clarify circumstances under which conditional release may be tolled, and require information-sharing among public agencies.  Requires report to the Legislature.  Effective July 1, 2050.  (SB1141 HD1)
