RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF NURSING.

Defines the practice of nursing; directs the state board of nursing to adopt certain provisions of the NCSBN Model Nursing Practice Act and Model Nursing Administrative Rules; delineates the scope of practice for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and advanced practice registered nurses; repeals Hawaii Administrative Rules relating to prescriptive authority for advanced practice registered nurses and amends the definition of "advanced practice nurse with prescriptive authority" to reflect this.  (SD1)

RELATING TO DENTAL SERVICES.

Prohibits an accident and health or sickness insurer, mutual benefit society, health maintenance organization, or dental service organization from requiring a dentist who provides services to its subscribers to accept a fee set by the accident and health or sickness insurer, mutual benefit society, health maintenance organization, or dental service organization unless the services are covered under the applicable subscriber agreement.  Effective 7/1/50.  (SD1)
