RELATING TO THE LONG TERM CARE COMMISSION. Requires the long term care commission to review the feasibility of establishing a long term care fund to assist residents who would otherwise not qualify for any government or private long term care insurance program. Requires the Commission to recommend appropriate funding mechanisms. Requires conclusions and recommendations of the review to be included in the commission's final report to the legislature on September 30, 2010. (HB2939 HD1)

RELATING TO GENERAL EXCISE TAX. Repeals the sunset provisions with respect to general excise tax exemptions for condominium submanagers, suboperators, and timeshare associations. Specifies that the $400,000 cap is based on the taxable amount due and not the gross receipts. (HB2783 HD1)

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
