Status

RELATING TO LANDOWNER LIABILITY.

Relieves landowner of liability for any damage, injury, or harm to persons or property outside the boundaries of the landowner's land caused by naturally occurring land failure originating on unimproved land.

RELATING TO ZONING.

Requires each county to enact zoning ordinances to protect against land slides and rock slides.

Status

RELATING TO COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT.

Requires certain agencies to account for sea-level rise and minimize risk from coastal hazards such as erosion, storm inundation, hurricanes, and tsunamis.  Preserves public shoreline access.  Extends shoreline setback to no less than 40 ft. from shoreline and authorizes counties to account for annual erosion rates.

RELATING TO PUBLIC LANDS.

Requires department of land and natural resources to notify an existing lessee of public lands of its intent to dispose of the lands in a subsequent transaction not less than 120 days prior to the expiration of the existing lease term.
