PURSUANT TO SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 2, ESTABLISHING A SENATE SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION OF THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND TOURISM TO H2 ENERGY LLC TO MANAGE THE HYDROGEN INVESTMENT CAPITAL SPECIAL FUND IN 2007, WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY ORDERED TO BE RESCINDED.

 

 

1. The committee will be receiving testimony from the following individuals for which subpoenas were issued:

  • Priscilla Thompson      DBEDT, Energy Analyst  (Deleted from the agenda)
  • John A. Chock             Hawaii Strategic Development Corporation, President  (Deleted from the agenda)
  • William P. Parks          DBEDT evaluation committee member
  • John Tantlinger            DBEDT evaluation committee member
  • Maurice H. Kaya          DBEDT evaluation committee member  (Deleted from the agenda)
  • Barry Weinman            High Beam (Is being added to the agenda)

 

 

 

 

2.  Decision-making, including decision-making on the issuance of subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum, which may    occur regarding the compelling of the attendance of witnesses and production of documents.

 

 

 

 

 

The Committee may meet in executive session to discuss matters as it deems necessary or as requested by a witness.

 

No public testimony will be accepted.
