RELATING TO ADJUSTING THE ANNUAL PENSIONS OF RETIRED PATIENT EMPLOYEES AT HANSEN'S DISEASE FACILITIES.

Adjusts pension amounts for retired patient employees of Hansen's disease facilities; provides for annual increase to be paid to deceased retired patient employees' estates.

RELATING TO TAXATION.

Specifies that a county shall not grant an exemption from the general excise tax (GET) or receipt taxes for a mixed-use transit-oriented joint development project. Exempts from GET a project developed to provide affordable rental housing or a community health care facility within a mixed-use transit-oriented joint development project.

RELATING TO INSURANCE.

Requires the legislative auditor to conduct a study of the adequacy of health plan reimbursements to providers.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing with a transmittal cover indicating:

Testimony submitted will be placed on the Legislative Web site after the hearing adjourns. This public posting of testimony on the Web site should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
