Measure Title: RELATING TO CONSUMERS.
Report Title: Consumers; Gasoline Price Caps ($)
Description: Amends the proposed maximum pre-tax wholesale price of regular unleaded gasoline by determining the baseline price to be the average spot price of regular unleaded gasoline in Los Angeles, New York Harbor, and the U.S. Gulf Coast as reported by the Oil Price Information Service; establishes zones and zone price adjustments; requires the P.U.C. to review adjustment factors; repeals the maximum pre-tax retail gasoline price; establishes maximum pre-tax wholesale prices for mid-grade and premium gasoline; establishes a task force to investigate the petroleum industry and its operations on the neighbor islands; and makes appropriations for the P.U.C. to carry out duties under this Act.
