Pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution No. 151, H.D. 1, S.D. 1 (2003), the Working Group on Universal Health Care will be convening an informational briefing on the following:

I. Consumer Perspective: Challenges facing Hawaii’s Healthcare

II. Panel discussion: Synthesis from Previous Hearings’ Issues, Subsequent Steps and Potential Legislative Action

III. The Panel will be asked to address the following questions, based on their previous presentations:

  1. What are your top three- (3) recommendations and what action steps do you propose in achieving these recommendations?

2) Identify gaps in evidence and opportunities for filling the gaps.

  1. What role do you see your respective organization playing to address key Healthcare issues?
