AMENDING THE RULES OF THE SENATE OF THE TWENTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Rule 45 of the Rules of the Senate, Twenty-second Legislature, co-sponsors of bills may add their names to bills up until the bill introduction deadline with the consent of the primary sponsor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-Second Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2004, that this body respectfully requests that the following sentence be deleted from Senate Rule 45:
"Co-sponsors may be added to bills up until the bill introduction deadline and with the consent of the primary sponsor."; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the President of the Senate and the Clerk of the Senate.
