A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

relating to the kapoho bay Conservation District.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The department of land and natural resources shall establish a recreation area at Kapoho Bay (TMK 1-4-02-47) as part of the state conservation district.

SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2004-2005, for the development of a state recreation area at the Kapoho Bay conservation district, including the construction of restroom facilities to decrease the undesirable waste products accumulating in the surrounding area.

SECTION 3. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on approval; provided that sections 2 and 3 shall take effect on July 1, 2004.
