A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-sixth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2003-2004:
1. Highlands intermediate school, Oahu
Construction to extend the band room.
Construction $600,000
Total funding $600,000
2. Highlands intermediate school, Oahu
Design and construction to install a ten-foot high chain link fence and gates along the north and west borders of the school property.
Design $10,000
Construction $45,000
Total funding $55,000
3. Pearl City elementary school, Oahu
Construction to install air conditioning system for all building "C" classrooms.
Construction $350,000
Total funding $350,000
4. Pearl City elementary school, Oahu
Construction to re-roof cafeteria and kitchen building.
Construction $200,000
Total funding $200,000
5. Momilani elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction of a four-foot moss rock wall behind building B.
Design $100,000
Construction $500,000
Total funding $600,000
6. Momilani elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction of a playground field.

7. Palisades elementary school, Oahu
Construction to re-roof building A.

Construction to re-roof building B.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2003.
