A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FORTIEth REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2003-2004.

I. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:

A. Kapolei Public Library, Oahu, Hawaii

1. Plan, design, construction and equipment of Phase II addition to the library.

2. Supply books and staffing for Phase I of library.

Books and staffing. Emergency appropriation to

provide for books and staffing so that library may

1. Kapolei High School, construction and equipment for completion of the Athletic Lockers and Stadium

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. The appropriations made for capital improvement projects authorized in this Act shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal biennium for which the appropriation is made; provided that all appropriations which are unencumbered as June 30, 2003, shall lapse as of that date.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2003.
