A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-eighth representative district.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2003-2004:

(A) McKinley high school, Oahu

Design, construction, and equipment to expand the cafeteria.

Design $40,000

Construction $250,000

Equipment $30,000

Total funding $320,000

(B) McKinley high school, Oahu

Construction and equipment to renovate the auto shop including upgrade of equipment and construction of a metal shop area.

Construction $80,000

Equipment $150,000

Total funding $230,000

(C) McKinley high school, Oahu

Plans, design, and construction to re-roof the cafeteria (building V).

Plans $1,000

Design $10,000

Construction $89,000

Total funding $100,000

(D) McKinley high school, Oahu

Plans, design, and construction to re-roof building W.

Plans $2,000

Design $20,000

Construction $178,000

Total funding $200,000

(E) McKinley high school, Oahu

Plans, construction, and equipment to upgrade physical education facilities.

Plans 50,000

Construction $200,000

Equipment $40,000

Total funding $290,000

(F) McKinley high school, Oahu

Construction to restore the foundation of building 857.

Construction $300,000

Total funding $300,000

The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2003.
