A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

Making an APPROPRIATION for agricultural promotions.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $7,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2001-2002, for the Mealani Forage Field Day education program and the Taste of the Hawaiian Range food and agricultural show; provided that the funds appropriated shall be matched with in-kind donations.

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2001.
