HB 2463    RELATING TO ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSES
HSCR 179   RECOGNITION                                HLT, CPC
        Requires   applicants    for    advanced   practice
        registered  nurse  (APRN)  recognition  to  have an
        unencumbered    APRN    recognition    or   similar
        designation in all other  states in which the nurse
        has a current and active recognition as an APRN.

HB 2464    RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF THE BOARD OF
HSCR 180   NURSING                                     HLT,CPC
        Enables  the  Board  to:  consult  and  confer with
        persons   with   expertise   on   various   issues;
        communicate   with   national   organizations  with
        information that would  promote consumer safety and
        welfare;  administer  the  nursing  exams; contract
        with a professional test  vendor; and develop rules
        relating to telehealth.

HB 2486    RELATING TO CHIROPRACTIC LICENSURE
HSCR 181   REQUIREMENTS                               HLT, CPC
        Revises  licensure  and  examination  processes for
        chiropractors.

HB 2488    RELATING TO RETURN OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS   HLT, CPC
HD 1       Allows long term care facilities or supervised
HSCR 182   living   groups   to   return   prescription  drugs
        previously   dispensed   or    distributed   by   a
        pharmacist, to be  redispensed  or redistributed by
        the pharmacist.

 
HB 2525    RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS             HLT, CPC
HD 1       Liberalizes regulatory controls and restrictions on
HSCR 273   the  distribution   of   medical   oxygen  and  the
        dispensing  of  prescription  drug  (non-controlled
        substances drugs).

HB 1864    RELATING TO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE       EDB, CPC
HSCR 217   Provides that any administrative rule that has been
        adopted pursuant to  statute  or ordinance that has
        been  subsequently   repealed   shall  be  repealed
        automatically upon the  effective  date of this Act
        without regard to chapter  91,  HRS.  Provides that
        whenever a statute  or  ordinance  is repealed, the
        administrative rule that is adopted pursuant to the
        repealed  statute  or   ordinance   shall  also  be
        repealed automatically  without  regard  to chapter
        91. HRS.

HB 2565    RELATING TO GARMENT INDUSTRY HOMEWORK      EDB, CPC
HSCR 208   Repeals   obsolete    provisions   and   eliminates
        unnecessary regulations.

HB 2581    RELATING TO THE REPEAL OF UNNECESSARY
HSCR 250   ADMINISTRATIVE RULES                       EDB, CPC
        Repeal administrative rules that are unnecessary or
        obsolete.

HB 2582    RELATING TO ADMINISTRATIVE RULES           EDB, CPC
HSCR 251   Sets forth an expedited  process  for the repeal of
        null and void or unnecessary administrative rules.

HB 2587    RELATING TO THE REPEAL OF NULL AND VOID
HSCR 252   ADMINISTRATIVE RULES                       EDB, CPC
        Repeals administrative rules that are null and void
        to reduce regulatory burdens.

HB 2727    RELATING TO INTERISLAND VEHICLE TRANSFERS  TRN, CPC
HSCR 165   Repeals the requirement that registered owners of a
        vehicle with an  outstanding  loan  cannot ship the
        vehicle between  the  islands  unless  he obtains a
        notarized statement from the creditor.

HB 2906    RELATING TO TOWING COMPANIES               TRN, CPC
HSCR 166   Requires all towing  companies,  not  only the ones
        being called to  tow  a  vehicle,  to  have sign on
        vehicle doors with the name and telephone number of
        the towing business etc.

HB 1777    RELATING TO MOTOR CARRIERS                 TRN, CPC
HD 1       Requires the public utilities commission to
HSCR 63    authorize  no  more   than   the  proposed  service
        described in  applications  for either certificates
        of  public  convenience  and  necessity  for common
        carriers and permits for contract carriers.
