                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SALT LAKE BOULEVARD WIDENING, OAHU.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  The purpose of this Act is to provide the
 
 2 State's share of project costs to design and construct
 
 3 improvements to Salt Lake Boulevard, Oahu.
 
 4      SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general
 
 5 revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $8,175,000, or so much
 
 6 thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2000-2001, for the
 
 7 purpose of funding land acquisition, easements, design,
 
 8 construction, and inspection to further improvements to Salt Lake
 
 9 Boulevard, from Bougainville Drive to Ala Lilikoi, Oahu.
 
10      Land Acquisition, Easements        $   25,000
 
11      Design                                500,000
 
12      Construction                        7,200,000
 
13      Inspection                            450,000
 
14           Total funding                 $8,175,000
 
15      SECTION 3.  The sum appropriated shall be matched and
 
16 expended by the city and county of Honolulu for the purposes of
