S.B. 157,   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE   HSH/HLT, FIN
   SD 1   PREVENTIVE DENTAL SERVICES TO ADULTS
            Appropriates funds to DHS to provide preventive dental    
        services for adults.

S.B. 172    MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE        HSH/HLT, FIN
  SD 2    CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM
            Appropriation for the children's health insurance 
            program.

S.B. 194    RELATING TO INCOME TAXATION       HSH/HLT, CPC, FIN
  SD 2    Establishes a state income tax credit equal to 50 per
            cent of premium costs paid, up to a maximum of 
            $1,000 per taxable year, during the taxable year for
            a qualified long-term care insurance contract as
            defined in section 7702B of the Internal Revenue Code.

S.B. 856    RELATING TO LONG-TERM                      HSH/HLT, FIN

 


 
  SD 2    RESIDENTIAL CARE
            Consolidates and provides for uniform regulation 
            of various adult residential care facilities and
            promotes parity of reimbursement for services provided.
            Establishes an information and referral
            process through appropriations to the DOH to implement
            screening.  Requires use of a uniform assessment tool
            Effective 7/1/99.
