Honorable Norman Mizuguchi
President of the Senate
Twentieth State Legislature
Regular Session of 1999
State of Hawaii

Sir:

Your Committee on Ways and Means, to which was referred H.B.
No. 1013 entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HAWAII

Upon further consideration, your Committee has amended this
bill by requiring the Authority to reimburse the General Fund for
amounts expended from that fund since January 1, 1999, for the
Authority's operations.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Ways and Means that is attached to this report, your
