Measure Title: RELATING TO VEHICLE INSPECTIONS.
Report Title: Vehicle Safety Inspections; Inspectors; Reconstructed Vehicles; Special Inspection and Certification Requirement; DOT
Description: Codifies certain certification, renewal, and violation processes of vehicle inspectors who conduct vehicle safety inspections under the department of transportation. Makes inoperable the requirement for reconstructed vehicles to obtain a special inspection and certification from 1/1/2022 through 7/31/2025. Requires the department of transportation to submit a report on the effects of the repeal no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2025. (CD1)
