Measure Title: RELATING TO CLEAN ENERGY TRANSPORTATION.
Report Title: DOT; DBEDT; Renewable Energy; Clean Transportation Initiative
Description: Establishes a Clean Transportation Initiative to reduce and ultimately eliminate the use of fossil fuels in all public ground transportation by 2035, and in all ground transportation, with a near term 2025 target benchmark. Requires the Department of Transportation to collaborate with the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to achieve the goals of the Clean Transportation Initiative. Clarifies that the transportation objectives of the State Planning Act include the reduction and ultimate elimination of the use of fossil fuels in all public ground transportation by 2035, and in all ground transportation thereafter. Repeals the Initiative on 1/31/2046. (HB2728 HD1)
