Measure Title: RELATING TO MARINE EVENTS.
Report Title: Boating Law; Regattas; Marine Parades; Surfing Contests; Permits; Fees; Deposits
Description: Requires a permit from the Department of Land and Natural Resources before holding a regatta, marine parade, or surfing contest. Requires permit applications to be submitted up to one year and at least forty-five days before the start of the proposed event. Allows DLNR to assess and collect a fee for permit processing. Requires DLNR to collect a deposit that is nonrefundable if the event is canceled within sixty days of the start of the event. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
