Measure Title: RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.
Report Title: Department of Education; Fundraising; Charitable Activity; Nonprofit Organizations; Student Learning
Description: Bars prohibition of student or class participation in a fundraiser or charitable activity in conjunction with a nonprofit organization as part of a school project when participation benefits student learning. Requires the department of education to adopt reasonable objective criteria for the selection of fundraising activities and to include a strict prohibition against coercion or pressuring students or their families to participate in the fundraising activities. (SD1)
