Measure Title: RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY.
Report Title: Public Lands; Kulani Correctional Facility; Public Safety; Work Release Pilot Program
Description: Requires the Department of Public Safety to plan for a model wellness center that employs native Hawaiian cultural practices on state land and to submit a report to the legislature prior to the 2013 legislative session. Creates a work release pilot program to allow certain incarcerated individuals to work on community projects that benefit the local community and the State. Effective July 1, 2050. Repeals pilot program on June 30, 2015. (SB3016 HD2)
