RELATING TO ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTS OF CANDIDATE COMMITTEES.

Repeals the requirement that candidate committee organizational reports include the name and address of each contributor who contributed an aggregate amount of more than $100 to the candidate committee since the last election.

RELATING TO ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTS OF NONCANDIDATE COMMITTEES.

Repeals reporting requirement regarding contributions in organizational reports of noncandidate committees and noncandidate committees making only independent expenditures.

Establishes the offense of "misrepresentation of a service animal".  Changes the term "service dog" to "service animal" and amends the definition of that term to conform with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

RELATING TO FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS.

Requires certain information on the financial disclosure statements deemed to be public records for non-paid volunteer members of state boards to be redacted.

RELATING TO CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD INFORMATION.

Clears up inconsistencies in the processing of expungements and public dissemination of criminal history record information relating to cases in which the defendant is acquitted or charges are dismissed by reason of physical or mental disease, disorder, or defect under chapter 704, Hawaii Revised Statutes, or is involuntarily hospitalized under section 706-607, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO STATUTORY REVISION:  AMENDING OR REPEALING VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE HAWAII REVISED STATUTES AND THE SESSION LAWS OF HAWAII FOR THE PURPOSES OF CORRECTING ERRORS AND REFERENCES, CLARIFYING LANGUAGE, AND DELETING OBSOLETE OR UNNECESSARY PROVISIONS.

Amends or repeals various provisions of the Hawaii Revised Statutes and the Session Laws of Hawaii for the purposes of correcting errors and references, clarifying language, and deleting obsolete or unnecessary provisions.

Extends the amount of time from the date an act of child sexual abuse occurred for a victim to bring a civil cause of action.
