Appropriates funds to support the planning and participation of the Hawaii aquaculture industry in the Aquaculture America 2020 conference.

Appropriates funds for the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to establish an aquaculture incubator at the National Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority to bring together entrepreneurs and investors to develop Hawaii's aquaculture industry.

RELATING TO THE HUI ‘IMI ADVISORY COUNCIL.

Reconvenes and repurposes the Hui ‘Imi advisory council and requires the advisory council to conduct a study on the state of Hawaiian small business in Hawaii and to submit a report of its findings to the legislature.

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received after 4:00pm the day prior to the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
