RELATING TO CLIMATE CHANGE.

Requires climate vulnerability assessments for permit applications filed after December 31, 2019, to construct, modify, relocate, or operate any regulated air pollutant source.  Takes effect 1/1/2025.  (SD1)

RELATING TO HAZARDOUS WASTE.

Requires retail automotive parts stores with an existing oil collection and storage unit to accept household generated used motor oil for recycling or disposal.  Defines retail automotive parts store.  Allows a retail automotive parts store to collect a fee for the actual cost of disposal or recycling.  (SD1)

RELATING TO WATER POLLUTION.

Bans the sale, offer of sale, or distribution in the State of any SPF sunscreen protection personal care product that contains oxybenzone or octinoxate, or both, without a medically licensed prescription.  Takes effect 1/1/2019.  (SD1)

RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

Requires, for any proposed action involving construction for which an environmental impact statement has been accepted by an agency but for which construction has not commenced within ten years of acceptance of the statement, the developer of the construction project to exercise due diligence with respect to any changes in the community where the project is planned and requires developers to hold community discussion and feedback sessions to discuss relevant and new concerns regarding the project.  Takes effect 7/1/2025.  (SD1)
