NOTICE OF INFORMATIONAL BRIEFING

The purpose of this informational briefing is to discuss the items on the University of Hawaii's Operating Budget Request for Fiscal Year 2015-2016, follow up on legislative items and priorities from past briefings and discuss future legislation for the upcoming 2016 legislative session in a transparent and open meeting.  

 

Each division of the University is invited to present their priorities and plans.  Discussion will include, but not limited to:

 

I.          University of Hawaii System

            A.         Supplemental Budget request for FY2016-2017 (Operating and CIP)

            B.         Guided Pathway System (GPS) Program

            C.         Implementation of Act 236 (Budget Planning & Tuition Special Fund to UOH900)

            D.         Management of Capital Improvement Projects and Update on Repair and Maintenance Backlog

 

II.         University of Hawaii at Hilo                

            A.         Update on Daniel K. Inouye School of Pharmacy

 

III.       University of Hawaii at West Oahu

            A.         Repayment of EB-5 Loan

            B.         Land Development Plan and Implementation

 

IV.       University of Hawaii at Manoa

            A.         Athletics

           

           

NO PUBLIC TESTIMONY WILL BE ACCEPTED.

 

For UH Divisions, written testimony is strongly recommended to allow committee members time to review the information to be presented.  Drop off at Vice-Chair Ichiyama's office Room 327 by: Monday, December 7, 4:00 p.m.

 

If you are bringing materials the day of the informational briefing, please bring 20 copies.
