In an effort to ensure the continued ecological, cultural and financial viability of the Mauna Kea Lands, which include the Mauna Kea State Park and the Mauna Kea Science Reserve, the Committees on Water, Land and Housing and Hawaiian Affairs would like to invite partners from the public and private sector around the State to an informational briefing for discussion. Goals of this briefing include an understanding as well as updates on plans for integration of Hawaiian culture into the management and daily operations of Mauna Kea. Organizations that may play a meaningful role in addressing the challenges associated with the Mauna Kea Lands community are encouraged to participate in this discussion.
