Measure Title: RELATING TO THE HAWAII TOURISM AUTHORITY.
Report Title: Hawaii Tourism Authority
Description: Extends the sunset date to June 30, 2010, of provisions: Granting the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) the authority to retain attorneys independent of the Attorney General; exempting HTA's accounts from supervision by the Comptroller; granting HTA the authority to appoint a sports coordinator; establishing that all interest and revenues or receipts derived by HTA from projects shall be deposited into the Tourism Special Fund (TSF); specifying that 5 percent of TSF funds may be used for administrative expenses; and certain other provisions.
