A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the FORTY-third representative district.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2002-2003:

To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:

1. Nanakuli IV elementary school, Oahu

Equipment and appurtenances.

Equipment $650,000

Total funding $650,000

2. Waianae coast comprehensive health center, Oahu

Design and construction for driveway improvements, grading, retaining wall, signage, and turn lane.

Design $ 20,000

Construction 200,000

Total funding $220,000

3. Waianae coast comprehensive health center, Oahu

Design, construction, and equipment to reroof and renovate emergency facility, to replace A/C system, to resurface existing parking lots and expanded handicapped parking, for purchase of security equipment, telecommunication system and emergency generator.

Design $ 3,000

Construction 357,000

Equipment 490,000

Total funding $850,000

4. Waianae coast comprehensive health center, Oahu

Design and construction to relocate existing portables and to develop driveway and mid-campus parking.

Design $ 65,000

Construction 735,000

Total funding $800,000

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2002.
